Sin embargo, hoy no trataremos sobre grandes mitos o películas históricas, sino que lo dedicaremos a la compañía estadounidense de animación, Pixar Animation Studios.

La exposición recoge el proceso previo, el procedimiento artístico por el que se crean los mundos, las historias, los personajes de cada una de sus películas, cada una diferente. Diferentes soportes, diferentes procesos. Pintura, dibujo, escultura, diseño. Además, una de las atracciones de esta exposición fueron los Colorscripts, pinturas que recogen el argumento de cada película, creados para proporcionar al director y a su equipo la idea de la película. Más sutil y abstracto, pero donde se entremezcla arte, emoción e imaginación.

Partiendo de su primer largometraje creado con efectos de animación digitales, Toy Story (1995), ha producido películas con mucho éxito, obteniendo 26 premios Óscar y 7 Globos de Oro. Además, debemos ser conscientes de que la gran parte de estas obras de arte que se crean en estudios por grandes equipos humanos, salen del estudio en contadas ocasiones, y ello les proporciona un gran valor artístico. Y es que detrás de cada película hay una historia como por ejemplo que antes de rodar Ratatouille, se encargó al chef Thomas Keller que cocinara todos los platos que aparecerían en la película o también, dibujando hasta 70 versiones de Kevin el ave alocada de Up.
