¡Estamos de Enhorabuena! ¡Hoy cumplimos el primer mes de vida 2.0! 
Y deseábamos tanto la lluvia del arte que, al final el tiempo se ha puesto de nuestra parte, y no nos regala ni un rayo de sol… ¡Por fin vacaciones!

Cada último jueves de mes, dedicaremos estas lineas a la decoración de interiores. La mezcla de materiales, texturas y colores serán los protagonistas frente a la distribución o los elementos arquitectónicos de una vivienda.

Creemos que os podrá resultar útil e inspirador.

Today we have reasons to celebrate our first month of life 2.0! And the wished art rain has been time with rainny days, but we need a ray of sunshine and … At least, we are on holidays!
Every last thursday of the month, we will dedicate these lines to interior decoration. The materials’ mixtures, textures and colors are the protagonists against the distribution or the architectural elements of a house.
We believe that it could be useful and inspiring for you.

Arte, color y diseño vintage nos ofrecen unos interiores únicos en una villa situada a unos pocos kilómetros de Copenhague. La decoración corre a cargo de los propietarios de la casa, la ilustradora Ruth Campau y su pareja, Michael Mørks. Los 147m2 de esta vivienda están repletos de inspiración Bauhaus, tanto en el mobiliario como en la paleta de colores utilizada.

La planta baja transmite cierto aire industrial en el tratamiento del suelo y las paredes blancas, que queda dulcificada por la presencia de una escayola decorativa. Todos estos elementos permiten crear un solo espacio para salón y cocina.
La artista consigue diferentes juegos de color en el mobiliario, combinando las Wire Chairs de los Eames con una mesa comprada en un mercadillo, y sobre ella un original diseño de su colaborador J.C. Larsen.
Es también donde encontramos gran parte de la obra artística de la pareja. Como anécdota, cuenta Michael, que las composiciones de las paredes son el resultado de interminables luchas entre sus collages de fotos y los acrílicos de la ilustradora. Una decisión común, fue la apertura de lucernarios en la planta superior de la vivienda, consiguiendo un gran espacio luminoso, donde anteriormente existían dos habitaciones. Ahora se ha convertido en el dormitorio principal y en el espacio para ver la tv.

Art, color and vintage design  offer unique interiors in a villa located a few kilometers from Copenhagen. The decor was designed by the owners, the illustrator Ruth Campau and her partner, Michael Morks. The 147m2 of this house are full of Bauhaus inspiration, both the furniture and the color palette used.

The ground treatment and the white walls of the ground floor gives an industrial air, which is softened by the presence of a decorative plaster. All these elements  create a single space to the lounge and the kitchen. The artist achieves differents colors sets in the furniture, combining the Wire Chairs from the Eames with table bought at a flea market, and on it, an original design from her collaborator JC Larsen. In addition, we find most of the artistic works of the couple. The walls’ compositions are the result of  the endless struggles between his photo collages and her acrylics. A common decision was opening skylights on the top floor of the house, getting a large bright space, where previously there were two rooms. Now it has become the master bedroom and they use it for watching TV.

Los huecos bajo los lucernarios, están recubiertos de armarios con puertas correderas de madera lacada, siguiendo la paleta de colores de la casa.
The gaps under the skylights are covered by wooden sliding doors following the colour palette.

El baño, que llama irremediablemente la atención por tener suelo y paredes parcialmente pintadas de amarillo, utiliza resina epoxi como material de revestimiento, influencia tomada como resultado de la colaboración de la artista en el Hospital Regional Randers.
The bathroom keeps inevitably our attention, painted in yellow using epoxi to cover floor and walls. Designed as ones in the Regional Randers Hospital where she colaborated as an artist.
